    Afternoon Date at SteelCraft

    I came across this place on instagram recently (thanks social media!) and decided to surprise Adam with a date yesterday afternoon in our own hood. SteelCraft is a really cool outdoor eatery in the Bixby Knolls neighborhood of Long Beach with all of the restaurants made of shipping containers. They have everything from ramen to gourmet waffles (banana cream waffles, guys) to hawaiian shaved ice and Smog City Brewing for those of you beer lovers. There is plenty of seating and a little lawn area where you can bring a blanket and do dinner or lunch picnic style. It’s still in it’s soft opening so only a couple of places…

    Korakia Palm Springs

    After our Joshua Tree adventures were done we decided to spend another night in the desert and make our way to Palm Springs. We arrived in PS and went straight to Arrive (see what I did there?) to check out this newer hotel and have some lunch. The restaurant was great, delicious drinks and lunch and from what we saw it looks like a gorgeous hotel! After lunch we made our way to our hotel, Korakia.     The Joshua Tree House

    Have you been on the internet/social media lately? Then you’ve seen this house appropriately called The Joshua Tree House. Every single blogger has been there and has been seen swinging in those amazing hanging chairs. My friend Amber was wanting to do her anniversary session out in Joshua Tree and so of course I mentioned this beautiful rental.
