Minimoon to the PNW
Yes, we’ve been married for almost three years now so this post is a little late to the game but it’s been in the drafts and is still a must share! We had such a great time exploring the Pacific North West that we had to throw together a little guide for you all. Thankful for friends who show us the ropes in their cities!! First on our Seattle list was a stop at The London Plane. It was equal parts beautiful and delicious and Megan could have purchased everything in the store. Views from atop Coffee stop #1 was at Elm Coffee Roasters We, of course, then had to…

Almond Blossoms – One of our favorite things about where we live
Every February the Almond trees in and around the Central Valley start sprouting tiny little buds. These buds turn into the most beautiful blooms and the orchards become these magical, white pieces of heaven (well, to me at least). I love this time of year and driving around town and seeing the blossoms always makes me so happy. They last three weeks, tops, so I was thrilled to finally have an afternoon free to have our talented friend Lauren Westra snap a few photos of Adam and I in the blooms. I will treasure these photos, Lauren! Thank you so much for taking the time to help make these memories…

Beam-ing with excitement!
Do you like what I did there?! We’re talking about beams on the blog today and dang, it’s going to look so good once the ceiling is done. This week has been a little slower in the demo department. Adam finished ripping out everything out of the bathroom. Adios pink/peach/whatever color you are tub and sink, and we’ve been trying to decide on tile for the floors. We love a simple hexagon (of course in white) but recently, aka last night, we thought, maybe we could be a tad bit more fun? We’ll see what happens there. I painted almost identical paint swatches on the wall to try and pick…

Demo Day (ahem, weeks) – Week Two in the Bravwel Home
Week Two!! SO much has happened since we got the keys to our house. We ripped out all of the flooring, even though most people think we are absolutely batty for doing so. It was really dark laminate with carpet in the bedrooms and none of it was our style so we decided this was the time to redo it all. We ripped out all of the flooring on day two and have been looking at a ton of flooring samples trying to pick a favorite. We talk about some of our plans for this coming week in the video so be sure to check it out. Plus I posted…

A Farmhouse Renovation by The Design Hunters
Last year Megan photographed this gorgeous renovation for our friend Veronica Valencia of The Design Hunters. Veronica completely renovated this gorgeous farmhouse into the coziest (yet still masculine) home, and it’s bringing so much inspiration to us during our own renovation. I mean, those door handles alone are giving us all of the heart eyes. You can see more and read a little FAQ with Veronica on Jillian Harris’ blog here. But for now, feel free to scroll through and take a look at some of our favorites from the transformation. V also has a line out with Select Blinds and since we’re wanting some roman shades for our kitchen…
