A Farmhouse Renovation by The Design Hunters
Last year Megan photographed this gorgeous renovation for our friend Veronica Valencia of The Design Hunters. Veronica completely renovated this gorgeous farmhouse into the coziest (yet still masculine) home, and it’s bringing so much inspiration to us during our own renovation. I mean, those door handles alone are giving us all of the heart eyes. You can see more and read a little FAQ with Veronica on Jillian Harris’ blog here. But for now, feel free to scroll through and take a look at some of our favorites from the transformation. V also has a line out with Select Blinds and since we’re wanting some roman shades for our kitchen…

Our New Home!!
We bought a house!! We are beyond excited to set roots down in Visalia again and make an old house our new home. If you know us then you know we didn’t want a new build. Actually, the older the better. We love the charm, unique features and layouts of older homes. So when a 1960’s ranch style home came on the market in a friendly little community tucked away in the outskirts of town, we knew we had to jump on it. Santa Rosa / Scribe Winery
Sometimes (most of the time) when we have out of town weddings we turn the trip into a little getaway. It’s the way we usually travel, a little work and a little play. It looks incredible! We stopped at some really great little cafes and restaurants during our stay. We loved The Naked Pig! I (megan) will literally never turn down an eggs benni and this adorable little spot did not disappoint. Wisteria…

Bon Voyage LA
So, hey there. You may be wondering where we went for an entire year. Well, here’s the long story long. After seven years of living the LA life, we decided it was time for something different. We were ready to leave the hustle and bustle and move somewhere where we could live a little bit slower pace of life. Life has a way of telling you it’s time to make a change. We slowly started crossing off the adult life check list. First, fall in love. Second, move in together. Third, get some pets (hello Samson and Delilah). Fourth, get married, and finally step five….buy a house. Now, we know…

Styling with Tobi
Have you heard of the online shop, Tobi? A client of mine, years ago, had the most beautiful dress for her boudoir session and she told me she got it from a site called Tobi. I’ve been a big fan of the brand ever since. I picked out a few of my favorite items from their site recently and wanted to show you how I styled them on a somewhat average day of mine. When I don’t have a session to go to you’ll find me at home for the majority of the day, sneaking away for a quick coffee date with girlfriends and hoping that once my husband gets…
