Our favorite afternoons
On Wednesdays we grab our favorite Gunn & Swain blanket, stop by Starbucks and head to the park with Lola. It doesn’t happen every week, sometimes I have a shoot and sometimes Adam has to be in the store but most weeks we make it happen and it’s one of our favorite things. Lola loves it because she’s obsessed with her ball and being outside. We love it because we get a sweet treat from Starbucks and get to read in peace (after we’ve exhausted Lola from playing, of course). Surprise Date Day / Glamping
Honestly, Adam rocks. He is the master at planning surprise date days, and all other date days for that matter, but this one takes the cake. One day he planned a date day(s) and told me to pack something casual, active and warm. Now, I don’t care what genre you tell me, I just want to wear a dress. What I’m loving / St Tropez Tanning Mousse
I don’t know about you but for me having a tan makes me feel about a million times better (and like 10 lbs skinner!) This summer has already been so nuts that I haven’t had a lot of time to just go relax on the beach and work on my tan so I’ve enlisted the help a sunless self tanner. Our Wedding / Hiring a Coordinator
I’m a day late BUT I wanted to talk today about the importance of hiring a wedding coordinator/planner. Waaaay before we even got engaged I knew I was going to hire a coordinator one way or another. I’ve been to enough weddings to know that having one is 1,081,932,387% worth it and I wanted to make sure that our wedding runs as smoothly as possible. A hot date with some boug
It’s officially spring which means there is bougainvillea everywhere. It may or may not be the best thing about this time of year, in my opinion. I told Adam I wanted to find some to shoot with and dang, he couldn’t have found a better patch! But let’s just talk about my jumper, yes, it’s a jumper! Tricked you, right? Usually jumpers/rompers don’t work for me (big thighs, you know) but this breezy, flowy one is just perfect and I love how comfortable and dress-like it is.
