After our mini moon to the PNW where we were go, go, go we wanted to book a honeymoon that was totally relaxing. So, in August we decided super last minute to book a trip to Cabo. Neither of us had ever been to that part of Mexico and were looking forward to doing nothing but relaxing and boy did we do just that. Friday Favorites / Is it fall yet?
It’s been a rough week, but more on that another day. I am, however, thankful that this guy sometimes comes along to my photo shoots with me. He’s the best assistant! I’m envious of people with doormen. Mainly because I feel like I stick around all day waiting for a package and then the second I leave it arrives. Worry no more, if you live in certain cities. Thoughts on having a bad day
Do you ever have those days where you just feel off? Defeated? Just plain sad? For no apparent reason really but everything you do, see and think about just makes you feel down? I did recently and the only thing that made me feel better was to just cry. Cry about how I miss my best friend and my Mom and how they’re too far away to swing by for coffee, how working from home is super lonely and then Adam called and said his car had overheated and broke down and I had to just laugh about it because, of course that would happen. Oh hey! It’s been a while since we did a Friday Favorites but we’re back at it! We did a fun shoot last week with our dear friend Heather Kincaid and we’re so excited to share more of these images soon! For now, this shot will have to do. Our favorite afternoons
On Wednesdays we grab our favorite Gunn & Swain blanket, stop by Starbucks and head to the park with Lola. It doesn’t happen every week, sometimes I have a shoot and sometimes Adam has to be in the store but most weeks we make it happen and it’s one of our favorite things. Lola loves it because she’s obsessed with her ball and being outside. We love it because we get a sweet treat from Starbucks and get to read in peace (after we’ve exhausted Lola from playing, of course).
